The shooter purchased his handguns in Maryland, which has 30 day waiting periods, universal background checks, registration, license to purchase, may-issue LTC, ban on perviously institutionalized persons owning guns, and no reciprocity w Fla. This had nothing to do with the NRA

Maybe until we can fix the underlying problem that they don’t value life, we could change laws to make sure they can’t act on it. Maybe they don’t value life because, as Calvin told Hobbes, “ too few role models.”
