In my opinion we need a representative congress in terms of what this country looks like.

I said “Pelosi is old” Trump is old. Hatch is old. Ted Cruz and Beto O’Rourke are both in the younger side of American leadership. We can go younger. Dems need to allow young people to seize leadership opportunities like the republicans have with people like Rubio, Ryan etc.

Older generations can lead but we need congress to empower more young people. So in the future when things as important as the ACA come up the current leadership can show young people how to get it passed.

David, My friend you messed up here. If you want any chance of getting actual things accomplished in this nation those "old" people are going to be the ones to do it. ACA was dead until Nancy Pelosi saved it, single handedly. It's the old people who know the system best.

Nancy Pelosi knows parliamentary rules better than any other living person. Politics is more than about energy and ideas. It's about strategy, knowledge, and connections all of which are learned overtime. It's about accruing favors and being able to call them in when needed. 2/

Putting Nancy Pelosi in the same category as Trump/Hatch is very offensive. Stop for a moment, look at the long list of her historic achievements based on leadership. NO COMPARISON. Continue to encourage young people to run but not at the expense of women who have broken barriers

This times a billion!! You don't sacrifice wisdom just to get someone younger. She knows what she's doing, and we need MORE like her, not fewer. And Pelosi can teach the newbies while still doing her job - with one hand tied behind her back.

David I've been behind you for from the beginning and agreed with and respected so much of what you've done and said. HOWEVER your prejudice against the elderly is no better than discrimination against one for their color religious belief, sexual orientation or gender.

2/ David you dont know me at all but I work 2 jobs 7 days a week NO days off. I'm 67 & cant afford to retire. If elderly people like me need to work until we die just to survive, stop and think about how your ageist attitude impacts we who are old. Its absolutely horrifying:
