He isn’t trying to say that they equally accept contributions. But to deny that a Democrat has taken contributions or to respond with “but Republicans do MORE” makes you look as if you are excusing it because you affiliate with the party. It’s unacceptable, party be damned.

@davidhogg111 , but be careful. Both parties are not the same. 99% of republicans are the ones the NRA backs. Call out the few democrats, but realize who will be taking their places and they could be far worse. -
Even if in an individual race Democrat took more (they did not) is irrelevant Individual members do not set the agenda Majority party sets the agenda Republican majority = No “Reform” of anything and a tyrannical maniac running amok for two more years
