Age limits, no, because then you are discriminating against someone because of their age, and that is unacceptable. However, term limits are a VERY good idea, and I whole-heartedly support them.

Take a look at Michigan. Term limit for the legislature has ruined the state. Ignorance of how government works, lack of accountability to the voters.

More important than age are competency & mental health tests. And questions about civics, etc. They should meet certain qualifications just like any other job. Also, EVERYONE NEEDS TO SHOW THEIR TAX RETURNS.

As a vote you are supposed to demand those things and not vote for someone who wont answer questions. show their tax returns or show up at a town hall.

I’m 69 and firmly believe there should be an upper age limit for congress members. Always thought it is odd that the old guys are voting on environmental issues that they won’t be around long enough to be affected by.
