You got that right! One of the worse things for your country's democracy. Here in Canada (at least federally) corporate (and union) donations are banned and there are specific caps on individual donations.

BTW Citizens United can be legislated away. Congress has a check on the judicial branch by writing new laws and amendments. It’s time to stop treating the Constitution like the Bible — some ancient text that can be interpreted any way you feel. Fix it.

Another, equally pressing priority for Congress is to draft a constitutional amendment that codifies Americans’ right to privacy. This has been respected by federal courts since the 1800s and by court precedent, but it is NOT GUARANTEED and is in jeopardy with Trump’s court pick.
