What if I am a young 120 lb woman that is presently bring stalked by an abusive ex? Seems like having a gun sooner than later would be prudent.
25yr old 160lb female here who would rather have a criminal justice system who takes harassment seriously and laws that make sure that mentally ill man wouldn’t have a gun to use against me. Zero desire to personally carry 24/7 when we have a police force in place to protect us.

Ya, keep this narrative going! This is the good stuff! Not completely anti-gun, but rather FOR smart and reasonable solutions to help save lives. Many states could use some “tightening up.”
I agree. This is easier to accept than "general gun grabbing", and it is very unlikely that it would lead to a total ban down the road. There is the illegal market, of course, plus other ways of croaking, but some lives would indeed be saved, and that's positive.
