I live in Florida and did not vote during the 2000 election. Florida decided who won the election (long story). I registered to vote before the first local primary. Never do I forget or skip voting, because yes, every vote does count. Lesson learned.

From the time I turned 18 to today err ummm many years older, I have proudly voted in every election small and large. People died for my right to do that, so many in the world don't have the right and at the very least it gives me the right to bitch about things ;)
