Welcome, and you're not wrong. At the winter solstice we get fewer than 9 hours of daylight, so the early sun feels pretty good. Thank you for working to turn out voters!

It's the hub of the state. It's mostly conservative farmers all over and a speck of big city that's blue. The state legislature had crazy insane right-wingers 20 years ago. The local news made huge gains in the 1990's.
