While no one is questioning that Mr. Brown loved his son, the inconvenient truth remains that anybody who reaches for an officer’s firearm during a physical struggle will almost certainly be met with deadly force. Especially after they strong-arm rob a convenience store.

Which is why I think that was suicide-by-cop. Add what you said to what happened in-between, his jaywalking down the middle of the street to draw the cops to him, and it all adds up to a case of suicide-by-cop. But leaving him there for hours was uncalled for.
