Dude, no. Closed primaries are a huge part of why @SenSanders lost. You're talking about the "jungle primary." Totally different. We want open primaries in all 50 so that independents can vote in Dem primaries!

If you want to vote (or run) in Democratic Primaries become a Democrat.

Hi David! I'm a fan of your activism and dedication. Here's why open primaries are good: @Ocasio2018. She is a Latina from a working class family running for Congress in NY 14th district against a D white guy who takes money from the same real estate developers who give to Trump.

Here is her ad: it's pretty dopehttps://twitter.com/Ocasio2018/status/1001795660524457985 …

I disagree with you. Open primaries allows EVERYONE to vote to choose the best candidate to represent the people. Closed primaries only allows the people who signed up for their particular club, six months ago, to vote in the primaries.Progressives believe in one person, one vote

Our particular party, you mean. The party members should choose OUR candidate representing OUR party.

Well as a Canadian looking in, I find your entire process confusing.

As a soon to be ex-American I ask —what do you mean by our “process”? When did we have one...?

No, David. Turn off MSNBC, turn on progressive voices. Please stop buying into corporate media. You know how we all know Fox is garbage? Well, the more you study and go deeper, the more you'll understand that MSNBC is also corporate propaganda.
