Training only makes one more proficient. An evil heart makes one do evil things, David. It’s not about the gun or permits or training or more government bureaucracy, it’s about the person.
That’s why we can have behavioral screening at the trainings.

In absence of a robust mental health system, extensive human interaction is very possibly one of the best methods of screening available to us. *If* there is an organization capable of performing such screening while training young people, it is the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
