The NRA does help educate gun owners, that's good however they need to do more. The bad part is when they actively lobby again things like Parkland #1 (HR4240) Universal Background Checks. But don't lobby to make it federal law that all guns are sold with trigger locks
Or mental health care funding or to get more funding for behavior intervention programs like @CeaseFireChgo or for mandatory government training for all guns to make sure that citizens can actively and effectively rebel against a tyrannical gov.

@davidhogg111 I feel like with your influence you could much better serve Chicago by advocating to end the war on drugs. There is s bipartisan coalition forming for prison reform as we speak.
