    I think that is still the easiest way to deploy a Node.js app today. is close, but handling environment variables/secrets is annoying. Serverless is interesting, but there's a big difference between what runs locally and on their platform.

    Currently writing about caching strategies for the Node.js book and can't help but be reminded that there are 2 hard problems in computer science: - Cache invalidation - Naming things - Off-by-1 errors

    CSRF attacks are dangerous. If a malicious agent created a successful CSRF attack they would be able to perform admin actions without permission. Here's a passage from Fullstack Node where we discuss the attack and give some ideas for addressing it /
