Pompeo's credibility is naught. His protestations shrill. Yet it's the facile contempt of accountability that makes me ill.

Pompeo's doing what he ought; A Presidential shill. Only one more SCOTUS pick and rule of law is sacrificed to Tump's whim and will.

Pompous Pompeo can’t answer that question, because he never did. Too afraid to stand up and defend a State Department employee because of what Individual 1 would say. America is being underserved by incompetent, lying, and partisan office holders.

@SecPompeo is a coward! Either he wont defend his team because he’s afraid of @realDonaldTrump or he won’t defend his team because he’s deeply involved in Trumps crimes. Either way his non-answer is striking

I don’t know if calling out their transgressions will get us anywhere in this no-shame era. I’ve been doing it myself all morning, month, year.Starting to wonder if appealing to their better angel is worth a try? Give them space to recover their dignity and put country 1st.
