1/2 Iraq invasion was to get USA access to the oil Bagdad was trading with Russia and some European Countries, under a UN sanction program. Saddam had the right of choosing who to trade with and US wasn't on his list. USA ran a Peopaganda that PM Chretien didn't believe in.

It was indeed about the access to Oil reserve and I believe they sold the idea to Bush as a payback to Saddam for the assassination plot against Bush Senior that unfolded in 1993. Clinton ordered a Tomahawk missiles strike on Iraq as retaliation.

Empty threats. As a country Saudi Arabia has zero clout against the U.S. The House of Saud, however has substantial clout over the House of Trump. Very similar situation as Russia. We hv a corrupt and badly compromised President.

No one should ever, ever, ever be allowed to run for president again who refuses to show their taxes. Ever!! There are reasons why these rules were put in place. If they have a problem with them, they can bow out.

Releasing tax returns is not in the"rules" nor is it law. It is being proposed to become law, that proposal is from 2018.

It was a norm all presidents have done since maybe the '40's. Now we know why. If anyone seeks the privilege of running for prez, then the must be required to show taxes. Is better? "norm" will "norm" let you be able to sleep tonight? I said "rule" & should have said "norm"
