For years, researchers have been sounding the alarm on the risks of using Google Translate in the doctor's office — a fallback that's especially common in low-resource facilities. Now they're aiming to make something better, and safer.

Today is the last day of my class, HPM 505, "Health Care Delivery Reform in the US." It's such a meaningful experience for me to learn from talented students at every year. I wanted to share my wrap up slides and overall themes from the class. /1

Waking up to news of war in Ukraine is heartbreaking, knowing that there will be refugees and so much death, destruction and trauma that will reverberate for generations. Thinking too of all lives already lost, cut short & impacted because of wars across the world. A heavy heart.

As match day approaches, I’d love to hear from med students/physicians who debated between a residency in emergency medicine versus internal medicine (especially if you have extra-clinical interests!). Which one did you choose and why? Was it the right choice?
