Are there any consequences for bogus copyright claims like this? I think any account that gets caught doing what VICE did should lose the ability to automatically put claims on videos (my video was unlisted when it got dinged).

@YouTube for 30 days? -
I can post fine, but Vice News controls all visibility and ad revenue on that video for a 30 day window unless they respond sooner.

I uploaded video of a live performance by a local band, and a music label put a copyright claim, saying it contained a clip of a 35-year-old recording. If they'd said, "This is a cover of a song we claim", that'd be fine, but that's not what they did.
