Debunking hate is not the same as promoting it, yet @TeamYouTube acts like it is. This is not only harmful to creators, it's harmful to our culture. @YouTube has a responsibility to make these distinctions and facilitate an environment that encourages these discussions.

I get the complaint. But at the same time, if most advertisers do not want ads running on content like that, it’s there choice. What else is YouTube supposed to do?

YouTube has leverage over them with this massive platform, data, and microtargeting. They can make the distinction to their advertising partners, they've just chosen not to because it requires them to hire more people instead of hoarding all this capital.
