    I used to know Brett Kavanaugh pretty well from my days as a conservative. 

 Anyone who thinks he’ll be an independent and fair judge is sorely mistaken—he’ll work for the Republican party, not the American people. The Senate should vote no.

    Brock isn’t blowing smoke here. The public record shows that even though Kavanaugh knew Vince Foster committed suicide, he spent $2 million in taxpayer money investigating the Clintons for “murder”.

    I was a newsmag editor during the period David Brock is describing here: What Brock says about B Kavanaugh’s role on the Ken Starr team rings true to my experience in those days. I think most other DC journalists from that era would say something similar
