As a strategist, I admire the job Mike Donilon did in crafting the message of the @JoeBiden campaign. A longtime Biden adviser, Donilon understood what made the former VP uniquely suited for this moment, crafted the message with great consistency and invested it with poetry.

I don't doubt their competency - we won. But do you think the win could have been more, er, convincing? And what about the downticket races? I don't mean to sound ungrateful - but frankly I'm surprised at the compromise outcome.
