It isnt a very good one.
-
Happy to engage if you'd care to go point by point
-
You've missed entire point of thread. EU bent this way and that to accomodate UK. QMV, that big bugbear of Brexiters, was mostly UK's idea.
-
You mean they "bent over backwards" to accommodate certain demands of successive UK govts, which bore little relation to public concerns?
-
Democratically elected govts that stood with these things in their manifestos. If you didnt like it you should have voted for someone else.
-
Unfortunately manifesti contain a basket of ideas. Only when the EU issue was separated could the British people deliver unambiguous verdict
-
Such an unambiguous verdict that most Leavers cant agree what it means leading us to a position of reductio ad absurdum (cf Euratom).

UK has driven many EU changes including the single market. Then in some parallel universe it is the fault of other people nor British.

It's most damning to the Tories. Their hand in the creation of the current EU is immense and now they stand and trash it. Unbelievable!

Many of these arguments were made, but Brexitism is a faith based religion, so facts that don't fit the narrative are dismissed as heresy.
