Good clarification here:
If you develop symptoms in the days before you test, Day 0 is the day of symptom onset regardless of when you test positive.
Quote Tweet
Replying to @davidalim
Not totally true, day zero is symptom onset regardless of test. If no symptoms, day zero is positive test.

I have a roommate who I've been isolating away from for nearly two weeks at this point.
He hasn't tested positive for Covid-19. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
I've kept to my bedroom and bathroom + worn a mask when preparing food and brought it back to my bedroom to eat.

CDC isolation guidelines for Covid-19:
cdc.gov/coronavirus/20
Some notable parts:
• CDC counts Day 0 as the day you test positive.
• If you experience shortness of breath, CDC says "you need to isolate through day 10" + wear a mask until at least day 11 around others.

BACKGROUND: Most US med devices do not receive FDA approval based on human clinical data. Instead, medium-risk devices (e.g., knee replacements, biliary stents) come to market based on "substantial equivalence" to already marketed "predicate" devices via 510(k) pathway. (2/22)
