Also note. The third one is positive. The line may be the faint but it’s there. It means he has high enough viral load, signaling becoming infectious. Next morning is even higher—darker line . Use rapid tests *right before* meeting. That’s their purpose.https://twitter.com/BQuilty/status/1471392764004913152 …

To the mention-folk claiming this is anxiety. Do you stop at red lights? Do you slow down around corners? YES COST IS A BARRIER. But if I can take sixty seconds to avoid infecting especially someone vulnerable, why wouldn't I? It's the opposite of anxiety. It's calm and carry-on.

Fanatically orienting all of human existence around disease mitigation with no end in sight is not "stopping at red lights". It would be better described as a choice of religion.

Scoffing at disease seems like such a first world problem. But you do you.

Probably a good time to remind the viewers at home that "fanatically orienting all of human existence" is in reference to taking some at-home tests after exposure and then staying in if you find out you're sick and likely infectious.

Bro, you wash your hands after you use the restroom? That’s literally disease mitigation.

God forbid we'd like some individual responsibility for saving lives during a pandemic that has taken millions of victims already, right? Makes it seem like maybe you haven't lost a loved one to it, or are too egotistical to care about those who have.

Incorrect usage: not “all” by any definition; end *is* in sight, both in the sense of end as goal and end as termination. You’re letting sloppy, imprecise language—clichés—do your thinking for you. Arendt’s Eichmann in Jerusalem will clarify the issues. Good luck!

As a society we have decided to do literally hundreds of things every day to mitigate disease. Your water is treated and inspected at a cost of millions of dollars. Your food has labels so allergic people can tell, airbags in cars cost thousands of dollars, I’ve never used one
