#2 It’s a community-based educational model. Community has always been one of our main principles. We love the no-code community and we think that’s one of the main reasons why no-code is so successful right now. We want to embrace that even more through our education.
7/10
It’s broken down into 6 overall categories:
1. Introduction to Apps
2. Strategy, Product, & Business
3. UX Design & Branding
4. Practical Guides to Building an App
5. Successfully Launching and Iterating
6. Navigating the No-Code Freelancer and Agency Ecosystem

🌟 How’s our Academy unique???
2 main things.
#1 There’s a lot more than just how to build in Adalo here. There are even tutorials on products that aren’t Adalo!

💡Why??
Being able to build an app just by yourself without coding is incredible. However, now that it’s possible, there's a new problem: there needs to be a way for individual makers to learn all of those different skills that are required to successfully build & launch.

🙋♀️What it is???
Over 100+ expert-led courses & resources to help you throughout the entire journey of creating an app — from coming up with an idea, to product strategy, to design, to building your app, and then finally, to successfully launching & iterating on your app!

🙏 Last but not least, there are so many people to thank. Thank you to our entire Adalo team, our investors, our Adalo Experts, our community leaders, anyone who’s ever built anything on Adalo, and the entire no-code community. You all inspire me to keep pushing forward!
📣 Pumped? Here’s how you can help. Spread the power of no-code by helping others out in the community, or by building a no-code dev shop, or just by telling someone new what no-code is. And if you’re ready to have some fun: Join us! We’re hiring!
🗺️ In order to pull this off, we’ve got some pretty exciting plans for our web apps (#responsivewebdesign anyone), our marketplace (it’s not just for components anymore), and our Adalo App Academy (it’s time to educate everyone to become a maker).
🤩 We’re at a very exciting moment in history. We’re about to enter a new phase of digital transformation. People are going to think of apps & software as completely different tools than they do today. The same way spreadsheets transformed work, #nocode is transforming life.
🤷 Why? Because the entire pie of coffee drinkers increased (#frappuccinos anyone). The same thing is happening with development. It’s not coding vs #nocode. It’s a win-win scenario where no-code is actually just dramatically increasing the size of the entire market.
☕ What next? Well #nocode is the future & it’s a lot like coffee. When Starbucks started to spread around the nation, local coffee shops were terrified. But what actually happened was pretty cool. Their profits actually went up in towns Starbucks would go to — by as much as 25%!
🚀 We launched in Nov. of 2019, closed our Seed Round in Jan. 2020, added 20 incredible team members, and together designed & built some pretty amazing things into Adalo: the Component Marketplace, Custom Actions, Templates, & more!
🛣️ When we first started, people didn’t really believe it was possible — some even flagged our initial ads as “fake propaganda.” So we made apps for startups & businesses as one of the first no-code dev shops. After launching a bunch of apps, we had the confidence to go live.
🎨 For me, Adalo was born after seeing design tools become so lifelike, getting stumped by coding courses, & thinking to myself one night: someone’s going to come up with a drag & drop way to do this before I actually learn to code. I had no clue that I would play a part in that!
🐅 A couple days ago we announced that we closed an $8M Series A Round led by Tiger Global. I know I’m supposed to be confident & say ‘I knew this would happen!’ but it’s still crazy to both look back at where we started and to look forward at where we’re headed.
It’s been amazing to receive so much support from you all in the #NoCode community over the past couple of days. The flood of messages is humbling. In case you missed my blog post announcing our Series A (or prefer a little threaded recap) here it goes…
3. No-code becomes as powerful as coding but the term stays around because it’s become the most popular way everyone refers to that methodology of development. Thoughts???
1. No-code platforms don’t become powerful enough so there’s always a clear distinction between the two. Boo! 👻👎! 2. No-code becomes as powerful as coding that the two terms become the same thing essentially - thus ‘no-code’ just gets referred to as ‘development.’
Reason 3: A powerful combination of forces has recently teamed up... The cloud, the proliferation of APIs integrating everything, the invention of design systems, and no-code tools going beyond templated websites has 10x’d the potential of what you can build without code.
Reason 2: While there might be a debate about the name no-code (#TeamDash)... the fact that we have a name is huge. It allows us to find each other, collaborate, and continue to grow. Before now, there was a belief this wasn’t possible. Our community has changed that.
Reason 1: 50.7% of the population is now either a Millennial or GenZ. This means over half of us have grown up with computers our entire lives. Despite that only 0.3% of people can code. This leads to a huge appetite for software but not a lot of people that can help create it.
Not gonna lie I’ve always been a little intimidated to share my thoughts on Twitter. But sometimes the only way to take the leap is to make it public. So... starting today I’m going to be sharing my thoughts on #nocode, design, and my journey with Adalo.
There are surreal moments as a founder that simultaneously make you go ‘Woah that’s amazing!’ and inspire you want to keep pushing and work harder. Seeing an entire site dedicated to
