It’s amazing that so many HTTPS fanboys at the browser vendors seem to be ignoring 1/3 of the security triad. That “A” is for availability folks. Confidentiality and Integrity aren’t worth much if you can’t *get* to large chunks of information.

Not sure I understand (not a security specialist) -- I have too many domains to keep running, on too many different platforms to even begin to contemplate the kind of transition they have in mind -- for little or no benefit.

Sorry was unclear. Confidentiality (can’t snoop), Integrity (can’t change contents), and Availability (can actually get to it) are supposed to be first principles for security folks. Encryption can help with “C” and “I”, but seems “A” (no less important) is getting ignored.

Finally a person who listens!
