Growing up in NYC after WWII, I had to deal with anti-semitism as a kid. My classmates blamed us for the deaths of their fathers in the war.
@rdrake98 -- anti-semites exist everywhere, and blame jews for everything. that's a rule. even if they're quiet it's there.

@davewiner I've read quite a bit about it pre WWII in the US. But British troops entering Belsen had a big impact on my father's generation -
