Without HTTPS, your site has no integrity. Then again... sounds like it wouldn't anyway.

by not securing your site down, you open yourself up to many, many forms of hijack-styled attacks. enabling security on your site helps protect visitors to your site. isnt that reason enough?

Take Google out of the equation and I am certain that somebody, if not the W3C, would have taken the stance for enforcing HTTPS. You're quite obviously anti-Google and that's fine, just, for the love of the internet, get with the program already. HTTPS was bound to happen.

I connect from insecure networks all the time. eg:AIrport/Hotel wifi and bad ISPs (
@Vodafone). Under these circumstances HTTPs will guarantee response integrity. HTTP won't. I do trust you,@davewiner. I just don't trust the pipes that bring your site to me.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
