This is why I have been imploring Dems to get into their constituencies and be a real presence. Talk to people, listen to them, push the facts about policy and simply be accessible. It *is* their job, but too many are going the @GOP route of ignoring people until election time.

I do. I voted for Capuano in the primary. I think Coakley was a crummy candidate for a million reasons, but I think some of Coakley's failure with "moderates" was she wasn't a backslapping dude who understood the language of Dunks 'n Fenway like Brown.
