I drove around a lot this year, if less than normal, and I often had a thought when in really pro-Trump areas. Before Trump, did any president inspire year-round flag displays? Not lawn signs, flags with his name and slogans (like “No more bullshit”).

I get very easily desensitized but my head always jerked when I saw a “FUCK YOUR FEELINGS” or “NO MORE BULLSHIT” flag in a leafy neighborhood.

Nope. Never seen anything like it before. I still have neighbors flying Trump flags and have yard signs out - right now.

MIA flags were always popular in such neighborhoods.

This was really striking to be when driving through rural GA. Even in the black belt, which voted heavily Dem, there were tons of Trump flags and signs, even billboards.

Probably not, but none were garish side show hacks who had access to branding fanatics
