As soon as he says that, a man who'd been handing out leaflets (haven't taken a look at them yet) gets up and asks "do you support Christopher Steele?" He's shouted down by a room that was mostly cheering for Rose; Rose says he'll get to the question.

Rose had been the last NY Democrat not in favor of the inquiry. But Republicans had already begun running ads accusing him of wanting "endless investigations," which kind of lowered the opportunity costs for him.

The commuting part of this town hall is also lots of fun. Rose ribbing de Blasio for leaving SI out of a commuting update: "The mayor announced a five borough fast ferry service that did not include Staten Island! Come on, man!"
