Medicare for All? Majority support. Wealth tax? Majority support. $15 minimum wage? Majority support. Democrats have largely rolled over for these ideas *because they’re popular.* There is no centrist constituency crying out for tuition costs to keep outpacing inflation.

Anecdotally, I have 2 millennial kids who LOVE Starbucks, amd who would NEVER vote for Howard Schultz. They are well informed enough to know that would be essentially a vote for Trump.
