    Paladino and Astorino both got roughly 1.5 million votes in 2010 and 2014 respectively. Almost as many (1.49 million) democrats turned out to vote in a Thursday primary this week. Those are scary numbers for Republicans.

    Like how does this survive the headline later this month when the Texas judge who thinks everything is unconstitutional says, oops, nobody with pre-existing conditions has protections anymore. (It will be appealed etc, but that's gonna be a day.)

    Ellison tied in the polls a month after his ex-girlfriend accused him of abuse. Hard to avoid conclusion that the way she did it -- claiming to have a damning tape, but refusing to show it to anyone -- smothered the story.

    You’re looking at the wrong number. *Every* progressive local candidate in NY-14 won last night. Our district ALONE took down 3 IDC members. Organizers beat a $2 million incumbent who spent more than a gubernatorial campaign. I wasn’t even on the ballot. Why project onto me?

    Interesting data point from last night’s promary: won incoming Congresswoman ’s by 36 (thirty six) points.

    The Kavanaugh story is the second time Ronan has shared a byline with the brilliant ...the first being the big Eric Schneiderman story. Both times people have promoted the stories as if Jane didn’t exist. I know it’s not intentional, but it’s certainly unfair.
