    If I post a headline that ruffles your feathers and your instant and woke rejoinder makes it clear that you didn’t read the actual article...bye. In my class if you don't do the reading you invariably fail the test. Same on Twitter.

    I won’t vote for anyone but Bernie in the general, can’t say what the hundreds of thousands of people who listen to my show will do, but I’m only speaking for myself. Just something to consider.

    Today, I have the solemn responsibility to uphold my oath of Growing up in Alabama I learned right from wrong. What the President did was more than wrong. Someone has to stand up & say so. I will fulfill my oath & vote in favor of both articles of impeachment.

    Senators are elected to make tough choices. We must study the facts & exercise independent judgment in keeping with our oaths. I've studied the record for months. Unfortunately I believe the President abused his power for his own benefit. My statement:

    If you’re “disgusted and insulted” by the Speaker ripping up a copy of the President’s speech but you said nothing when he literally called for his political opponents to be arrested for treason, you’re not a serious person.

    As Speaker of the House for four State of the Unions by a President of the other party I am disgusted and insulted by the viciously partisan action of Nancy Pelosi tearing up the speech.She isn’t clever or cute her childishness insults our American traditions -should be censured.

    Not at all surprised by Doug Jones' decision to convict Trump. He was a heroic civil rights lawyer. He actually cares about justice. He believed Christine Blasey Ford and voted "no" on Kavanaugh. Nobody is perfect but Jones will be treated well by history.

    The point just made - that Buttigieg/Biden/Klobuchar are adding up to 56% vs. Sanders/Warren at 43% - is an important one. 2020 Dem voters (even in IA) aren't as liberal as often portrayed, and Buttigieg wouldn't be ahead without Biden/Klobuchar second choice votes.
