    I know, that's why Floyd & Manny and Conor can't draw except to the hardcores. And reality is, 50 years ago they probably couldn't. If not for Sayama & Mysterio, lots of these guys couldn't even get in. Guess what, they're in and gasp, crowds respond to them.

    It's something people complain about without thinking. When you start thinking you get it. Some people get really upset about that. Lawler threw more punches than anyone ever does superkicks, but that was fine. Today we'd have people saying how he's ruined the biz.

    Why do so many people think that it's fake if someone gets kicked in the face and isn't knocked out, while it's perfectly fine for them to get punched in the face over and over again without being knocked out?

    Lawler did the same thing for decades in Memphis. Today he's considered one of the smartest workersw of all-time. He was 5-10 at the time.

    They pulled the rubber band to having a 6-5 300 pounds jacked up dude finding a second wind and no-sell. They're trying it with 5-10 190 pounds now ... the rubber band snaps for a lot of people when done wrong.

    How many 50s and 60s finishers were used regularly without any thoughts to this in the 70s and 80s? Pretty much every one. That's the evolution of the business. Get mad that guys kick out of shoulder tackles.

    I'm sorry but superkicks used to be match enders or to change the complexion of a match. Now they're just regular moves. Punches were rarely used as a finisher. You can point to an example here and there (Ronnie Garvin) but it wasn't as prevalent of a finisher as the superkick.

    No, just 100 haymakers. In the 60s and 70s it was closed fists, because of Japan pro wrestling, MMA and Shawn Michaels, kicks are used like fists were. If you think that way, it's similar.
