... the @OhioCRs have sent what’s materially the same email out to supporters at least two other times this month, changing only the subject line. All are signed “Tom Ferrall Chairman Ohio Federation of College Republicans”pic.twitter.com/ASX3us3kwR
Other anti-@AOC emails have come from this group, too, although not using the “domestic terrorist” language used today to describe @AOC.pic.twitter.com/xLFc2H2YfM
.@tomferrall, the @OhioCRs chairman who signed these fundraising emails, noted his work for Sen. @robportman’s campaign in a 2017 letter announcing his candidacy for the @OhioCRs job. He also notes that he’s been chairman of the @univofdayton College Republicans.pic.twitter.com/KtTnC7ZBXA
.@tomferrall’s personal Twitter account is locked at this time.pic.twitter.com/mVCG0sQNqN
Another example of a recent @OhioCRs email following similar script: attack @AOC/another liberal, plead poverty, ask for money.
The @OhioCRs have been notably aggressive e-fundraisers this year. Only thing really new about today’s “domestic terrorist” email is the subject line.pic.twitter.com/qXHGlicSAF
Another @OhioCRs fundraising email from March 29 calling @AOC “a fool.”pic.twitter.com/b0uGwxal6K
Last month in a @OhioCRs fundraising email, @tomferrall wrote of “leftist thugs” and himself receiving “constant threats from liberal activists on campus but I REFUSE to back down.”pic.twitter.com/rgdAat9kb7
Have reached out by phone/email to the @OhioCRs with questions about its @AOC “domestic terrorist” email and broader fundraising efforts this year. Will update if/when they respond.pic.twitter.com/7ToBP1IMXI
To update, no one from the @OhioCRs has responded to questions, and @tomferrall has not responded, either.
UPDATE: The @OhioCRs blame fundraising email, calling @AOC at “domestic terrorist,” on third-party consulting firm @clevelanddotcomhttps://www.cleveland.com/open/2019/04/gop-email-calling-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-a-domestic-terrorist-blamed-on-outside-firm.html …
UPDATE: @univofdayton in a statement confirmed @tomferrall is a student there and improperly used a campus mailing address in @OhioCRs fundraising message. “The student has agreed to discontinue use of this address for this purpose and to remove it from past communications.”
Also, from @univofdayton: “Respect for others is a core value of the University and we emphasize the importance of civil discourse. We do talk with students and offer numerous opportunities to explore issues of dialogue and professionalism in curricula and experiential learning”
Asked how or if the the @univofdayton is further investigating this matter, it declined to comment.
One Q that's still unanswered about the @OhioCRs: Where was the $$ it was raising through these email solicitations going? Chairm @tomferrall told @darreldrowland at @DispatchAlerts that the proceeds were split 50-50 w/ a fundraising firm he won't identifyhttps://www.dispatch.com/news/20190411/ohio-college-gop-apologizes-to-aoc-for-email-calling-her-domestic-terrorist …
I'm no expert in Ohio state campaign $$ law, specifically. Would a group such as the @OhioCRs need to register as a state PAC, and therefore disclose financial info, if was raising large amounts of $$ for political purposes?

It appears @tomferrall, the @OhioCRs chairman at the center of this @AOC "domestic terrorist" flap, is now running for national co-chairman of the @CRNC.pic.twitter.com/GLLdjLUG04
