1/ Today, the @CampaignLegal Center was supposed to meet w/ @FEC Chairwoman Caroline Hunter (R) and Vice Chairwoman @EllenLWeintraub (D) about internet-based political ad disclaimers. Press was invited. But the meeting has been postponed without initial explanation.
2/ Statement from @FEC: "Unfortunately, the Campaign Legal Center has postponed this afternoon's scheduled internet disclaimers briefing with Chair Hunter and Vice Chair Weintraub. The information session will be rescheduled for a later date."
3/ Just heard from @CampaignLegal, who said someone on their end got sick, prompting the postponement. They hope to do it in late August, CLC spokesman @CoreyGStone says.
