TIL from Oscar Levant's Wikipedia page "he was the inspiration for the neurotic, womanizing pianist "Henry Orient" in Nora Johnson's novel and subsequent Hollywood film". Is it true? As I lifelong fan of Levant and Henry Orient, I'm surprised I hadn't heard this before.
