    i actually thought the michelob ultra 6 pack + plant 6 feet of organic farmland was ... good. what else can you compete on in that world? so they created a cause. and nice fit with their brand (the fitness beer).

    i don't know a ton about advertising. but it feels like the playbook every commodity brand uses is humor. whoever can make the most ridiculous commercial wins.

    If you read books and make highlights (physical books or kindle) the app is incredible. Read a book. Take pictures. Upload. Or just kindle highlights. Then get emails with notes every day. Need to give them some ❤️ so they keep it going.

    It's not a direct response email. But it's a "touchpoint for a long term relationship" email. And it works as priming your audience for when you DO have an ask. They'll be more likely to listen, because they've seen you give value without getting anything back.

    I would mix in at least one email a week where you *dont ask for anything.* Take a break from the blog and webinar promo, and just send your readers a question. Or a comment. Or a quote. Or an idea.

    It’s not a channel to promote webinars. It’s a channel to entertain and get people to know and trust you — without ever having met you. It’s time for B2B brands to re-think how they do this whole social thing. This is not 2010.
