I know I can *kind of* do this by using Shortcuts, but having to do-si-do through that app in order to perform actions makes the whole experience so much slower and inconvenient than it could be

There are very few things I want from #WWDC this year, but #1 on my list is:
I want to save an NSUserActivity as an icon on my homescreen.
Then I get an icon to open a specific Numbers doc, or call a person, or have multiple icons for a single app in multiple folders

This could very well happen if they go ahead and remove 3D Touch. Wouldn't be too hard to believe. Hoping they do it

Furthermore, Safari has been doing this since iOS 3, with the "Add to Home screen" feature.

In the radar I filed, I asked for a new “Add to Homescreen” option to show up for sharing an NSUserActivity, just like for a web page
