Companies like @DoorDash refuse to abide by law, while their drivers continue to risk their health everyday with no workplace protections.
Thank you @ChesaBoudin for stepping in to stop these exploitative practices and pursue justice for these workers!https://twitter.com/chesaboudin/status/1272973755397009408 …

I have been a Rideshare Driver for 5 years. I do not want to be an employee. Where is our FREEDOM? Who do you think you are to take this FREEDOM away from us? Most drivers do not want a boss. You are killing the FREEDOM of Enterprise.

Bruno you don’t want drivers to receive at least minimum wage, paid overtime and the ability to form a union if they want to?

I want drivers to make more money. Drivers do make more than the minimum wage when they treat ride share like a business. Yes there are things we can improve. We do not need a Union to get involved. Most drivers want to stay independent contractors.

I’m sorry but you aren’t making sense. In cities like NYC 96% of drivers were being paid less than min wage. Uber sets the rates. It isn’t a “small business” at all.https://twitter.com/carljackmiller/status/1195671991661019136?s=21 …

When wages were brought up, $225m a month went back into the local economy. pic.twitter.com/WAur8wxwduShow this thread1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
