This is a terrible tragedy and awful end to a brutal year. It is a system failure that resulted in irreversible harm to two families. My heart goes out to the families of the victims. We will hold the man who did this accountable. We will support the families of the victims

What changes specifically? You never addressed the gift cards to the burglary suspect from last week who for some reason had his ankle monitor turned off and took the opportunity to go rob a house while afforded the privilege

Were there actual details of these “gift cards” put out somewhere, or just going to go by some vague tweet? Giving a person released from jail some small amount for food & transport is smart, we don’t need them desperate right after release.
