To what? Bitcoin is a permissionless protocol. What is it about forking it that means anyone deserves to be viciously attacked? I'm genuinely curious.

Forking is not the issue. That is exactly what they should have done. The ongoing narrative that "BCH is Bitcoin" is the problem and should be "viciously attacked" or at least highly ridiculed. If you don't call out fraud, you yourself are a fraudster.

Just because BCH initiated the fork, doesn’t mean BCH is THE forked coin. The name of Bitcoin should be given to whichever coin resembles the original Satoshi whitepaper the most. Plain and simple. Good day:)

Spin up an instance of Bitcoin 0.7 node (written by Satoshi in 2011) and see if it will connect to the Bcash chain hint: it won't ... but it will connect to the BTC chain...weird. 🤔

Have we actually verified this? I'm a bit skeptical that the original release will catch up to consensus ever....

And if it doesn't, does that mean that bitcoin core is not the real bitcoin?

Last I checked it uses Core's consensus library. If so, then it is the bitcoin core unabridged ruleset. (Which ruleset is the benchmark of compliance, if not theirs?)

It's based off the hierarchy of just leadership named 'bitcoin core'. They test the software for accuracy... against core. Additionally, you probably aren't running the full consensus code (is it an SPV node?) and if you are, it's out of consensus if core says so.

Ahh I see ... So when are we renaming Linux to Linux Foundation since the leadership comes from the foundation? I do not use SPV as it was an unfinished idea from Satoshi .. who knows we may get lucky and someone might figure out fraud proofs.

And what does that have todo with fish? Also since you are one that would never want to mislead ... 90% of bcash nodes are running BitcoinABC software and concensus .. so can we please start to refer to it as BitcoinABC so we can take it more seriously?
