    Then that exports the sound to a DAC, the pcm5101A. That is then amplified with a 50W amplifier tpa3116 and sent on the white 4pin connector to the speaker and tweeter.

    There is an unmounted qfn16 spot, which to me feels like a communication chip spot. To be checked with a scope.

    Computer is a MCIMX6X2EVN10AC, a cortex A9 at 1GHz with a cortex M4F coprocessor at 200MHz. It has a 512MB Nanya DDR3 memory chip in BGA and a 512MB Spansion nand flash on the back.

    The communication is a pci-e slot with a common but not COTS wifi chip. Uses a Mediatek mt7615n wifi chip. Antenna connections on the left, normally to the left and right of the tweeter.

    That connects to the whole rest of the board, in three sections - audio/analog left, computer in the middle and communication on the right.

    At the bottom you see the 220V section. First a bit of PFC, then a bridge rectifier DF08S, then a flyback SMPS powered by a rt7781s. Big cap over the rectified 220, two big caps post-rectifier for handling big spikes.

    Looks like standard wifi card on pcie. Also, apparently they include a quarter of a glue stick, unmelted, in the BOM??

    Also, the top is glued on at the front and back. Thankfully ships these in a 6pack.

    Back is now loose but wedged under the top. Let's do that first. Sync button is glued down flexible pcb. Eesh.

    Front has two tx8 to hold the tweeter in. Trying the 4 screws in the back first. These are all normally under a velvety material, the front ones under a very thin tape.
