#VCBuzz A2. I utilise several approaches ... but all stem from Goals. I define what the purpose of content would be, and which business goals it contributes to (revenue, awareness, reach, rankings etc.). From there, I like to go internal/historical first. >>>

Content Audits help us see what content we have that has performed (or not), and contributed to the goal(s) we are after.
This helps us see what the existing audience responds to, what converts, what gets promoted/linked to etc.

#VCBuzz A2.3 I then look at reactions to such content. Comments on the site, social comments on promoted/shared pieces etc. Sometimes there are some seriously good ideas/thoughts that can either update or generate a new piece (you can ego stroke/reward audiences this way too) -
