#VCBuzz A4. There are 3 main usage types of tools like Analytics: 1) Too little 2) Too much 3) Just right Most people fall in to groups 1 or 2. Some people just forget it's there, don't realise the value it can provide etc. Others obsess over it, and constantly check.

Ideally, you should check on it regularly (just like GSC etc.).
But - the real key is to define Alerts.
This means that you can spend a few minutes looking over the data whilst you sip your tea/coffee... knowing that if something is "wrong", you'll get pinged.

#VCBuzz A4.3. What you shouldn't be doing is disappearing into the data for hours at a time. Set aside 15 minutes to review the main data, scan for trends etc., and do that daily. Set a day/time for a deeper dive each week. But make sure you have Alerts setup for dangers. -
#VCBuzz A4.4. The same way your site should be notifying you of script/DB issues, GA should be warning you about drops of N% in traffic or conversions, or excessive visits, or horrible load times etc. If there is an issue - you should know about it fast!
