By always having a part of the mind open and looking, thinking or feeling.
Sometimes, forcefully tackling something just doesn't work.
You may end up following a process, or hitting a wall etc.
This often happens when we close-in/close-down our senses/imaginations.

#VCBuzz A3.2. To overcome such things, it helps if you can spot when that happens. It's not always a sense of drudgery or a struggle to produce. sometimes, we can work very effectively without inspiration ... and not realise that it's somewhat formulaic. -
#VCBuzz A3.3. {Note: Nothing wrong with processes/formulas - I use them a lot :D} The point is - you end up with little variation, and often, you find that the results lack a certain emotional power, aren't as edgy, may not connect as well as earlier works did/do etc. - Antwoorden weergeven

Its one of the reasons I have a few non digital hobbies - switches the mind elsewhere and gives it a rest.

Yes, so important! You cannot to the same thing all day long and expect to be inspired! Take breaks!
