Entity based SEO is simply expanding upon Keyword based SEO, by the inclusion of "entities".
Entities are not as complicated as people seem to think - we all learned about them in School.
Think of Proper Nouns :D
Person, Place, Time, Event etc.

From NLP - I found the concept of ER/EE a bit confusing, then when looking at Linguistics, I realised it was basically just that - Proper Nouns. Penny dropped :D

I agree entities aren't difficult once you understand the broad concept. I'd say it goes a little beyond this though. Rather than just keywords, what other concepts and themes should be present to create a clearer picture for search engines.

I love looking at Wikipedia (especially since this is what BERT was trained on). The way internal linking from entity to entity is fantastic. I model my strategy after what they're doing, rinse, repeat

#VCBuzz A2.2. G has acquired/built up a vast knowledge base of "entities". These can be utilised for sense disambiguation (meaning), and thematic/topical classification (relevance etc.). So G has built up it's KB (KnowledgeGraph), so it can perform Entity Recognition. >>> -
#VCBuzz A2.3. This helps them disambiguate Queries/searches, as well as potentially classifying text etc. I've always liked to look at content as how "data-rich" it is. When you look at Wiki, you can see exactly what I mean (names, dates, locations etc.). >>> - Antwoorden weergeven
