I like my own :D Basic parsers/extractors, DB queries, conjoining data from Server access logs, Search Console and Analytics packages to get to grips with what ranks and what converts, what generates traffic, or links, or money etc.

The bigger the site, the more competitive the space, the more important (vital!) it is to have access to the data from such tools. SMBs don't often really need them (though it's nice) - but once you have serious traffic/money - you shouldn't be without them.
