Natural progression :D
I was originally in web design, but out of a desire to provide a better service, and as half the work was site based, I decided to learn SEO. With a work background that included Sales and Marketing, it was quite natural.

I was lucky enough to stumble into the Cre8asite forums, and then later the Google Webmaster Forums, and spent a short time as a Top Contributor there. Since then I've worked as an independent, agency support and even in-house, covering SEO/CM/PPC etc.
