This is the farthest thing from the truth

Oh no it very much is the truth. Parents and players look to people who are approved by the NFLPA’s program for guidance, but they avoid best in class guys who don’t want to the pay the fee. It needs to be ended.

You won’t hear argument from me on that. NFLPA means well on the issue but the program is far far far from perfect. But I wouldn’t call that program “the” problem.
-
Not the problem. A problem. It shouldn’t exist

Does the NFLPA have a list of approved financial advisors players can work with?
-
They have a list of suggested advisors, which entails a list of advisors that have taken a simple test and paid a few thousand dollars to be on. Hence the overly exaggerated credibility of the advisors on the list. The NFL is setting their own players up for failure.

Disagree entirely, let the players make the decision of who are credible enough to trust or not trust. At least a designation will weed out the scumbags that think they are worthy enough to be making calls on someone else’s future.
-
No that’s exactly the problem. The designation is a false one. They look at guys who are more qualified and ask for their certification. It’s a joke.

Darren I’m 325K in student debt pursuing a job I will enjoy. Can you please give me financial advice on traditional 10 year student loan payback at 6% on average or REPAYE? Thanks, long time supporter of yours.

I have over 300k in student debt. Bankruptcy doesn't mean you don't have to pay (trust me, I've looked in to it)
